Hi,
Really briefly, my girlfriend's RAZR is synced with the TL now. Works great.
I get in the car, with my new phone, a T-mob SDA, and I can't sync with it (her phone is obviously not in the car).
My phone is in discovery mode, I got thru the standart phone menu syncing procedure and the car does not find it.
Any suggestions?
I did everything, stumped. I'm sure that I can sync more than one phone, as long as they're not at the same time.
I don't have the car manual on me, and I did everything as per the phone direactons.
TIA,

That site might help it kinda tells you what steps to do for multiple phones. Not all bluetooth phones are able to be used with the handsfreelink so that might be the problem you are running into but Gl to you anyways.

wow, there's a blog for everything now?
Hmm... when I set the phone on hands free, the phone is looking for a device as opposed to being discovered.
Talked to a few people, they said that the TL is generally difficult to pair with.
Maybe a dealer will offer some assistance... for free that it.

Yeah from what I have heard bluetooth is not very well developed expecially as far as cell phones go because different carriers limit the functionality of the bluetooth in many different ways. Verizon for instance used to cut out everything except connection to a headset so that people could not connect the phones to computers to put their own custom ringers on the phones. I think they have stopped such practices by now though.
Even getting my SLVR phone to connect through bluetooth to my wifes laptop has been a burdon and because of that I usually just end up using a cable. I dont know why bluetooth is so difficult as it is easy as hell to set up a wireless network, and in comparison bluetooth is usually less secure than a wireless network is.
