Default Fire Charger system discharged with no help

So a couple weeks ago at Roebling Road I was sitting at grid before the race on Saturday. It was pretty hot, probably close to 90 or 95. All of a sudden, I hear a "pop", and before I know it, my legs are getting flooded with foam from my fire system. All I could think about was how much was getting let loose under the hood. I just sat there and let it run out, my legs and feet were completely soaking wet.

Anyone ever had this happen? Im using the "Fire Charger" system. Its the one that has the co2 cartridge. I pulled everything apart, and it looks like the solution ate through the metal cap, and corroded the tip of the co2 cartridge. Hell of a time to blow, but I guess thats how it happens sometimes.

The system is less than a year old. If anyone is using this system I would dismantle and check it on a monthly basis.
