Default Removing your intake???

How do you go about removing your intake so you can put a CAI or SR in? If someone could show me with pics or link me to a thread on showing how to take your stock one out on a 1999 accord V6 coupe and putting a new one in. Thanks

i put my friend's intakeon in his 2002 accord
all I needed was a non-phillips screwdriver to loosen up the aircraft clamps holding it to the Intake manifold and a 10mm wrench to loosen the bolts holding the airbox in

If its a CAI I'm pretty sure you gotta remove the front bumper also to take some stuff too. Not sure on a v6 but on my I4 I did.

Gust what he said, and you will need to take of the front bumper for the CAI to get the stuff the stuff out... I lost a bolt under my intake box the only thing i had trouble with is the aircraft clamps and a some hose's and thats it

When I did my CAI, I just jacked up my front end, removed my passenger tire, and took out the clips to the splash guard. They are a bit of a pain in the *** the first time through, but eventually you get the feel for it. After that, pop the hood, then take the filter box off, intake pipe, then the resonator tube thingy. Removing the actual resonator is easy, just the far bolt is a bit of a pain in the *** to reach. Installing the new intake is really obvious and shouldnt need an explanation. However, if you have any trouble, ask for some help! You never ask... you never know.
