here's a stupid question. on my 91 accord, i just noticed that in a turn the shoulder belt actually locks if i tug on it and prevents me from leanign forward

but if i brake hard in a straight line and what not it doesn't lock at all, no matter how hard i brake, or how fast i tug on the shoulder belt.

i never knew the shoulder belt locked at all so i thought it was normal, but after experienceing the locking during a turn, i am not wondering, is it suppose to lock during braking too?

so if anyone that owns a 90-91 accord with the gay auto seat belts could chime in, i'd appreciate it thanks!
