Default teg stalls out when i give it gas?? help

ok so i just dropped back in the fully built lsvtec
iam trying to break it in before tune.

I currently have it with
stock headers
stock fule rail
stock injectors
msd external coil and dizzy.

it starts with a rough shakky idle
when i give it gas, as its coming down it dies.
i have to keep the revs up to keep it alive.

I swapped my friends b16 dizzy on there and it helped a lil.
idle was ok, just a lil rough and when i gave it lil gas it kind of caught it self and stayed runing. but when i give it a big rev ( 3k) it died on the way down agian.

iam stumpped, could this be a timing problem or injectors are crapped out.

its a
84 mm sleeved block
9:1 je
b16a2 head
no thermostat
no intake
p28 ecu
stock ls injectors
running open headers for the break-in.

should i just try the turbo on there for the break-in.

maybe you put the tps plug to the map sensor...those harness plug are identical and plugs into eachother perfectly...

First thing I would do is ditch MSD crap. Not necessary unless you are making 400+ WHP.

Do you get any check engine codes?

I would check the timing and go over ALL of your electrical connections to make sure they are right as well as snug.

It sounds like something to do with the MAP sensor. I had the same problem one time. It was like the complete opposite when you revved it.

yea actually iam going to 500 hp.
I have took off my MSD 6al, i am just using the external blaster coil.
But i swapped out whole dizzy for a friends STOCK b16 dizzy, and same problem.
My wiring connections is right, and i do get a check engine, but its for vtec pressure switch.
haven't installed 1 yet, cuz i was running a JDM solenoid.
Due you think the stock LS injectors can't hold up the 84mm bore with 9:1 pistons.
I also tried reseting the ecu and still same problem.

u used timing light after swapping dizzys?? b/c u need to set timing at 15degrees

and your tps voltage needs to be set at

.45-.5 v at closed throttle and 4.6-5v at WOT

u loosen the 2 srews and move it back and 4th, unless its rivted on in which case u have to cut a slot in them and use a flt head screw dirver to adjust it

this deffinately sounds like ur problem

car doesnt need to be running

i had no idea how many people didnt know this

oh yeah btw put the turbo on for the break in just keep boost on the low side

it will help seat your rings
