Installing AEM short ram intake
I am replacing an old air intake that I had installed when I first got the car (replacing the stock intake). However, it appears that I might have some connections wrong. Can someone take me a close up picture of an engine bay with either the stock intake or AEM short ram intake. Specifically, can I get a close up near where the intake manifold? I am concerned with the hose that connects from the intake to the valve cover. Thanks.
The hose I got with my AEM short ram didn't fit either. Not even close to lining up with the intake correctly and way to stiff to bend it to fit. I used the hose from my HKS intake that I took off. Just go down and buy a hose from somewhere like autozone and use it.
hey dude. i just installed a cold air intake myself. you probably are concernd with the tube that connects from the intake to the head in the car. it use to directly connect but it will take the hose to slide over each side to fit the gap now. u can twist the tube if you haev too just make sure it dosent kink and cut off the aif flow when you install
