i dont think you can get a new wire cable for the whole speedometer, just go and buy the whole thing from a honda dealer should be like less than a 100 dollars. installing it should be simple to do.

Go to your local Honda Dealer and get one, I bought one here in Tx for mine and it ran about $35.00+Tax. So it may be more in your area.

did you check to see if the sensor popped out the tranny? try that first before going to spend money..

I had that prob with my 3rd gen supra, all i had to replace was the first foot of the speedo cable that plugs into the tranny, it turned out that the plug broke on it, took $20 and about 10min to fix it. Because the speedo cable is in 2 sections, the one that plugs into the tranny about 1' which is the cheap one to replace and then the long one with can get expensive. So take off the end that plugs into your tranny and check that before you do anything else, you might end up saving alot of time and money as opposed to just going out and replacing the whole cable.
