I was wondering if Honda made a Black interior (dash, door panels, center concil, ect.) for a 99 civic Ex coupe. Im pretty sure only made their "charcole grey" but thought i would ask. The next is did they ever make a black interior that would fit in my car? If not i have two options for the conversion....1) interior paint, has anyone had a good experience with paint? If so types of paint and maybe the procedure you used. I have heard the paint chips pretty easily unless you use a ton of clear coat which gives you the smooth glossy ricer look i want to avoid...2) go to a custom interior shop and pay to have the dash reupholstered. Please let me know your thoughts or ideas. I am trying to duplicate the type r look black on red thats the reason for this post.

no honda does not make a 96+ civic in the US w/ a black interior( JDM CTRs have it)
