I was told by another H-T member to visit the Type R forum (since I don't look at the other forums) to see new pictures of Victor Penner's car. Looks a lot different than the last time I saw it. Is that paint Victor, or vinyl? Looks almost too good to race. When does your schedule bring you south of the border?
Congratulations on having A&J on board with you this season. Hopefully you'll keep us updated on your season.
For those who are not familiar with Victor's car....

Hey!
I woke up Easter morning and I found it in my basket. Well it is not so pretty after this weekend. It was horrible weather and one of the cars from Strictly BMW didn't like being passed, so on the next corner he punted me into the mud after I had the best charge I've ever had. I started 4th in a Conference Group 5 race and on the start a CRX got by me into 1 and trying too hard to get by him I went off in 9 and at least 16 cars passed me. I picked them off one by one and passed the BMW for 4th and was about to get his teamate for 3rd when he put me off. I was so pissed off !!! well on the positive side I had the 2nd fastest race lap and the best run of my short and sordid career.
In the 1hr race series I started 8th overall out of 30 cars and I finished 2nd in class and 4th overall behind Chris Souliotis' Porsche in 1st, Ian Thomas/Simon Parker's Type R in 2nd and the Strictly BMW SpeedCallenge GT car.
I'm so pretty

let me clarify my post....
any stunna can place stickers on his car and call it a 'race' car....
'race' cars that sit and have pictures of them suck.
information about race history and modifications must follow pictures of 'Race' cars....
if not this thread may very well belong in the appearance fourm.
Will
who would like some more information about the above car

IIRC, this is the car that makes regular appearances supporting the CART race (Portland Int'l Raceway?) that RR98ITR has mentioned. Not a poseur-mobile by any stretch.

#2, I didn't post this to cause any "ill-will" amongst frequest visitors here.
#3, I posted this because I wanted to congratulate Victor on his new sponsorship deal and the new graphic package he has. I think you'll agree (after you really think about it) that it's pretty good-looking now (not that it wasn't before).
#4, That "is" a racecar.
#5, Moderator Chris, feel free to delete this entire post if you feel it shouldn't be here. I think I have a pretty good track-record in here and don't usually post meaningless subjects.
#6, If I took the above quoted comments out-of-context, ignore #2, #3, and #6.
Hey Will,
I have a SCCA National Licence, a CACC National Licence and a ICSCC National Licence. The car has over 30 wheel to wheel races on it. I, and the car are the 2001 SCCA NorthWest Region T2 Champions.
I don't care if you like the "stickers" or not, but most of the list members that frequent this board would die for the deal that A&J Racing (who is an authorized Spoon Sports distributor) is giving me this year. Endless/Zeal like the "stickers" enough to supply me with brakes this season through A&J.
John posted a picture for a laugh, and there is clearly a before picture of me racing last year in Driver's Edge/OMP trim and then a current picture minutes after the "stickers" were done in front of my sponsors shop before our first race of the season and i'm a "stunna'?
Will, get a clue!

Guys,
I think Willard is just kidding around, and he know's Victor and his car are the real thing. He was just ******* on ricers, and it was too easy to misinterpret his post.
Scott, who doesn't have any sponsors.....will race for tires.....

"Stickers" are the worlds greatest thing for race cars. Mine gets more and more vinyl each year. Covers up the dings and scratches real good.
And if somebody is paying you for them... Well... Party On!!!
Scott, who again has graphics envy over Victor's car.
