What's up guys,

Did a search and not even one thread came up? Anyways it's a stock D16A6. It had the original faulty igniter replaced from the factory and I just replaced it again 6 months ago. The car died on me last night and isn't getting any spark, I'm pretty sure it's the igniter, any ideas on why it's goong through them or what else I should check for? Any help would be greatly appreciated

BTW-this hatch only has 90k miles on it

 

always check the coil when addressing ignitor issues. if the car just died, you might just need a new coil, ive had that problem. when you're cranking the car is the tach wigging out? usually if the tach is going nuts, its the ignitor

 

When the igniter died before and cranking the engine the tach didn't do anything, same this time. But before when the igniter went out the car gave a few warning signs, it had a few hiccups 2 weeks prior and the revs went down, right before it gave up the ghost the car kinda lagged and then just died, this time it just completely died going up the a really nice mountain road...

Just got off the phone with the dealership, they replaced the coil not the igniter, anyone have coils go bad on them in less than 4 months? I'm really leaning towrds the igniter now
