i got a 93 radiator that im trying to put into my hatch so i can turbo it but when i stick the radiator in my hood dont close...i was starting to think i was retarded and didnt know how to put a radiator in my car till i heard my friend had the same problem with a crx...if anyone knows how to get the stupid thing to fit tell me!

 

yu have to do the "ghetto lean" the radiator will lean back a lot.

that's why I'm just going to spend the money on something that fits nicely.

 

or u can trim the webbing of the hood to get it to fit. the ghetto lean looks friggin stupid.

 

if i do trim the webbing i'll have to take out ALOT of it cuz the radiator matches the headlights and i might have to go threw the hood cuz the radiator cap....so ill probably have to do that lean thingy

also to the o.p. the lean isnt to bad, but if you dont like that then get a '99 neon radiator w/out a/c they will fit w/no lean

I honestly don't really like HT I'm a HMT guy myself but i try to help people and I did but honestly this dude didn't even look there was a post right on the front page for this exact questions, gets tiresum, eg rad in an ef has been around for many years not even hard to figure out how to make it work, I did all my stuff on my own and only asked when i had serious problems that I was lost on but only after HOURS of searching

 

I jus had the same problem but what you need to do is use a drimmel and cut out the inside part of the hood you know the extra stuff but not too big of a piece so find out where the support is hitting then cut it works fine i jus did mine yesterday
