I pumed gas at a Shell station and my CEL went on?
I was running on E and I put about twenty bucks in and my car started hesitating on partial throttle . I thought my O2 sensor was messed up but I waited till I ran out of Gas and filled up @ 76 and my problem was gone. I emailed Shell about the issue I had and today I recieved a 50$ gas card from them

what do you think was making your car hesitate.....do you think it was ethanol that gas company's are adding to the gas ? I ask because I was watching the local news and a few cars were having problem do to the ethanol

I've had plenty of cars come in that had bad gas from typically "good station". All you dudes trying to jack the system for 50 bucks...go ahead and end yourself because all that does is raise prices for everyone else and make it more difficult for someone who actually HAS issues with the company. But, most of you are 16 year old retards anyways

i used to use shells cheap gas and it always sucked!!!!!!! even my dads 2000suburban when it was new could not run cheap shell gas! it just knocked them thumped to beat hell!
only time i will use shell gas is if its the cheapest station cause the rest went up $$ already and thier mid grade is still cheaper than the cheap stuff at other stations
BUT also THREAD HIJACK for just a second.......
my gas filler doesnt have a flap... WTF........ im preaty Fen sure thier should be a small flap in the dam thing!
it just doesnt feel right when filling up either
even my old crapy 86crx had a gas flap on the filler! i dont know why mines missing....

My '00 Civic was missing the flap too. I could have sworn it had one when I first bought it; probably fell into the tank at some point in time.
