Problem with tail lights i ordered.
I just orderd the JDM tails for the 1990 hatch, but they have writing on them its like paint or somthing they did to signify them. It like what you see on the windshields of cars that get impounded or crashed. Anyway i want to know if any one has a special trick to get it off, or some secret chemical that i can use that dosent mess up the light it self.
Ive taken that crap off before using goo gone and a towel. You could probably also do like 50/50 mix alcohol and water or something similarly mild to remove it but not to eat away at the plastic.
the alcohol dosent work and the goo done leaves a stain, thats how i messed up the other ones on the car when i was shaving the honda letters.

goo gone, the citrius type (orangeish in color) ruined something?
i use that stuff on everything, delabeling rear, getting glue off windows... never had a problem.
did you submerge it or something?
