I have a 95 Accord LX AUTO - I got it back in november, and as its been getting hotter and hotter, its been shifting much harder and harder. I had the tranny fluid replaced 5k Miles ago, In Febuary.

It also seems like it skips through 3rd or 4th gear, ill be accelarting, it will shift hard through the gears, and when i get to 3rd i think, it wont go past 4k RPM's, it just goes to the next gear, is that normal?

Any ideas on how to fix this please?!

 

your tranis brain is going DEAD! u got to redue it and a trani shop somewhere. . . . . sorry dude but i dont think this can b a cheapy fix

 

My friend reccomended this tranny oil. What should I do?!

 

Even though your trans fluid was changed 5K ago it wouldn't hurt to change it again, make sure to only use honda ATF.

But most likely it sounds like your TCM is going up.

I've never heard of anyone repairing a TCM, but it's definitely worth looking in to.

A TCM is a transmission control module.

The honda dealership or any local Aamco Transmission or any reparable trans shop in your area.

 

Ill take it to the dealer to see whats wrong with it, I got hook ups at my local honda dealer, he doesnt charge labor!
