hey what's up peep!!! i just bought some ex headers with down pipe. the only thing i need to do now to make sure everything works is to extend the O2 wire. has anyone ever done this? if so how long do the new wires have to be to reach the O2 sensor? What kind of guage wiring do i need? Is the wire suppose to be copper or some diff kind of metal? And how do I connect the wires, by using a butt connector or soildering it? thanks!!!!
P.S. if their is anything else i need to do please tell me.

 

first off...its header not headers...second...this is what happened to me...but i found an adapter...but i heard all you need to do is get some wires and use butt connectors and some electical tape...im not 100% sure on this..remember..its only what if heard...good luck dude

 

where did u find the adapter? can i find adapters at autozone, checkerauto, etc??? or is it possible for me to go to the junkyard and find EX wiring??? thanks!!!

actually i got the adapter from my friends who work at a shop...it was from a Neuspeed header and the guy didnt need it so they gave it to me...call your local honda dealership...im pretty sure i called them first b4 i knew about my friend having the adapter and i think they said they sell them.

 

iff all else fails soder it of course dont just connect it with elec. tape.
a GOOD soder job and then tape.

 

mmm, some heat shrinkable tubing works nicely too.
