I need a new headlight and i saw one on ebay but he seemed to stress that it was for a 90 or 91. I thought 88-91 was all the same.
it will but the differences is the headlight frame..see the 88-89 has the corner lens mounted with 2 screws on the side while the 90-91 has a slot on the bracket frame to mount the corner on the inside with a gap under the hood. it will work but then you would need to change your corner lens assuming that you have an 88-89 instead of the 90-91 models. and lets assume you have the 88-89 then you would need to do that. and if you have the 90-91 then it the other way but you would need to add 2 screw mounting slot on the fender, to be able to screw the corner len on the side.
if you like them, you can swap the housing into you current buckets.
its a little more work, but ive done it pleanty of times.
if you can find them for your year itll save you some time, like 15-20 mins tops.
88-89 and 90-91 differ in how the corner lenses mount, as said above. but the mount points for then housing itself are the same, which allows for the swap if thats what you want.
