What autocross class? gutted crx si
I have a 89 CRX SI that is completly gutted. It is a project that will be a road racing car in the next year or 2. I do however want to autocross it and not sure what class it fits in. I have everything out except the dash and a racing seat in it. Also the only mod is race tires, everything else is still stock. I have a cage for it but it is not installed yet. It proabably will not be installed for a while but in the meantime i do want to autocross it, just not sure what class. Thanks for any help in advance.
I had an integra i autocrossed before but just did not know on this car because it is gutted. The rules get a little confusing sometimes and did not know if anybody knew was all.
I was bumped to EP (E Prepared) simply because my 98 civic ex has no rear seats, gutted trunk and a carbon fiber hood. I'm running street tires and stock d16y8 motor
...but I'm still having fun out there....actually....I've been very successful with my setup over the past four events.

If you keep it fully IT legal and you can run in CSP.

"Cars listed as eligible in and prepared to the current national Improved Touring rules are permitted to compete in their respective Street Prepared classes."
Keith, who runs in CSP with his H5 Honda Challenge car, and people sometimes question it having very little "interior"...
