Auto and Manual Center Consoles the Same?

Wondering if all I need is the manual shift boot thing and it'll fit into the auto center console shifter hole.

I coulda told you but I tossed out my auto console when I stripped the inside, still have the manual one and I'd only "assume" they were the same.
