i might go for something extra like Redline MTF is there any specific redline fluid?
I want something more than just HOnda MTF,
has anyone used Honda MTF with an additive?
Would you guys reccomend me using GM synchromesh even though i dont have any grinds, basically I want some extra protection and prevention without harming the tranny...
let me know whats possible and safe
like using GM synchromesh from the start
or and additive etc.
thanks guys

It seems to me that you're more interested in getting a sticker with whatever you put in your tranny, than the well being of it. Look how many people have recommended Honda MTF... it might be for a reason.
I've read some pretty negative tests where people have ran it (Lucas additves) through a box with "simulated" gears, and have gotten bubbling at high rpms (this is bad!). Oil is designed to run on its own, not with an additive. Take chemical engineering, you'll realize that most of these products are pure hype.
Also, so many people seem to be on this Royal Purple bandwagon (spare me the flaming) but I have yet to see any positive proof that it is any better than the regular, cheaper, more proven counterparts.
At the end of the day, it will probably make absolutely no difference what you put in, as long as you're happy with it.

what fluid provides best lubrication for the tranny, I want the tranny to be smooth as hell since I have never had a smooth tranny and the swap came with no reverse

2 Quarts?
If I remember correctly, tranny takes 2.1-2.2 litres, Canadian dealerships sell HMTF in 1 litre bottles... meaning you need 3
Just fill it up until it overflows (but make sure your car is absolutely leveled)
Good luck!

Yea you do need to buy 3 bottles of Honda MTF. Even though you will only used a fraction of the 3rd bottle. This is how Honda makes money
. Just save the extra for your friend or next fluid change.
