Any ideas?!? IACV Stripped!!

Default Any ideas?!? IACV Stripped!!

yea so my car idols extremely low when warmed up....(like 200 or less RPM's)
so i go to adjust it and my idol air control valve is stripped liek no other......its just a stock b16 intake mani...ill get some pics....but do u guys have any idea how to fix a stipped screw??....its flathead......help me out please!

your idle air control valve has no real adjustment. it is mounted on the backside of your intake manifold, has two coolant lines going to it, and a two-wire plug. what you're talking about is the idle adjustment screw, right above your air intake.

go to sears and buy a screw extractor kit, probably the drill-out flavor. have a new screw on order from honda, so you can replace it. 16016-PM6-005 <- thats your part number, most likely. If you have access to a junkyard though, that is a pocketable item
