Default Check out this crx im trying to get.

I stopped by this house today while I was out, they’ve had this crx sitting out for about a yr & it hasn’t moved.

I noticed the tags are from 03’ so I know it hasn’t been on the streets for a while.

Interior is in great shape, exterior didn’t appear to have any rust I could see, or body damage.

The owner doesn’t live there so I didn’t get too much info on the car. Its his uncles place so I left my number for them to have him call me & let me know if he wants to sell it & if so for how much.

I had owned a teal rex before that was getting ready for an LS swap, but storage issues arose and I had to accept major losses and part it out. so since then ive always regetted not finishing that project.

You guys think it’s a good idea or no?

I don’t know the mileage but with how long its been off the road the motors prolly blown or gone. Which are things I like to hear. Cuz they = lower price

well i was planning on them telling me what they wanted.....cuz im in the back woods and ppl around here aren't real "import knowledgable" theyre more muscel car oriented.

so instead of offering them something that could be waaayyyy over what they want and them make off with alot of my money.

I'll let them suggest an amount and i'll come back at em with an offer.

& i noticed the armrest....i didnt know they made them factory USDM atleast.

my old one didnt have one & ive never seen anythign similar in any of the rex's ive seen.

Crx armrests were an option in the US. I had one in my 89 si and a 90 si, don't destroy the louvers. If you don't like them I'm sure somone will want to buy them.

i would never trash or destroy something i could possibly turn a profit from.

If the armrest is an SI only option hell maybe this cars an Si...

i didnt see any badging or sticker on the back.

It does have a rear window wiper, I beleive that only came on an SI... and the sunroof gives it away, as I know it only came on the SI..

That looks like OEM louvers that were painted to match the body. Louvers are fairly rare so you might want to look into selling them.....

The armrest isn't OEM. Factory CRX armrests had cloth covers that one looks vinyl/plastic. It's also black OEM armrests matched the charcoal center console. But other than that it looks like a good place to start.....

sweet so i guess it is an Si from what your guys are telling me.

IM not too familiar with crx's but arent the Si's single cam vtec's? or have i heard wrong from ppl.

I might be able to turn some cash out of the louvers. lol

And it pisses me off now cuz ive had a bunch of parts laying around from my old project rex, and i recently within the last 3 months started letting **** go for crazy cheap.

I had the full WW rs kit, a wing like this one , tein sport springs, tokico's, a ractive exhaust, full interior & taillights....

now i wish i had held out.

Yeah, looks like a 90-91 Si to me. And I heart louvers. I have a set on my other CRX. If you don't like, as mentioned, def try and sell them, someone's gonna want em.

ok soo i was lied to.... expletive it...the motors prolly toast anyways.

I'll prolly rip it apart and see whats wrong with it but ultimatly i'll end up doign a Ls swap. Something simple just to get me better gas mileage than my jeep.

Ill post up a pic of my old crx to humor you ppl..

Damn dude, nice find
Judging by the pics provided there are a couple of give away signs that it's an Si... the door panels have the "felt-like" material on them, the seats are obviously si, and the most obvious is the moon roof.
you can also tell it's a 90-91 by the seats, the "screw-less" bumper lenses and by looking at the cluster hood...it's rounder in comparison to the 88-89 rexes.
This thing should have rear discs as well...also I think I can see a skunk or skunk replica shift ****. Good luck buying it

Are you sure? How did the car end up in Pennsylvania?

I'm digging the OG Louvers and the OE Window Visors.

That armrest isn't Honda...it's an aftermarket piece that was available in the 90's. I think they still make them actually. I'll see if I can find the link.

thats what i was wondering....cuz it seems unlikely. that motor was a bitch to get out and had all original paint and body panels on it.... unlikely anyone made it the shiznit.
