wierd sound from right side passengers door, any ideas?
It's a medium pitched squealing sound when I turn off the car. Doesn't happen all the time but happens a good amount.
If I just energize the car (ignition to on position) it makes the sound also. Any ideas? Maybe the lock motor? I was gonna try to figure it out by digging through the Helms tonite, but wanted to see if anyone else here has experienced it.

Dude, I think my car does the same thing! But to be honest, I havent heard it in a while. It was happeneing right as I'd turn off the ignition. I'd hear the whirring sound for about a half second, then it stops. It did this for about 2 weeks, and I can't remember hearing it in a while. I even forgot about it. It happened during this winter.
Its called a fuel pump....
Just turn the radio up, that makes all the weird sounds and noises go away

i dont know if it's the exact same sound..but i just noticed it tonight. when i turn the car off i hear a squealing coming from the passenger door. i locked/unlocked the car like 50 times in a row...in my case..it's the lock motor that squeals...after a few consecutive times it stopped whining..but i'm sure it'll start up again.
