Did anyone ever try to top out this engine?

ive gone about 95 then wuss out.

 

i went like 110-115 in my 91 DX hatch. I'm done with high speed runs though.

 

I got to 210kmh in my automatic going downhill...would hardly do 160kmh in a straight on flat ground.

with a downhill grade of at least 30%........

 

I think ive seen 110 listed somewhere. Thats what i hit on my way to Fresno in my old 4 door once.

 

Iv hit over 140 But the only thing d15 is the bottom end... And also no more high speed runs for me either speed kills on the street!

yeah, dont make yet another thread about it.

 

I had a tail wind and a slight downhill grade.

hit 110, I don't think its governed, it was more like a gearing issue.

 

i hit 105 with my std 4spd

 

120 with removed rev limiter on the 118 freeway.


rolled 7 times..lucky i had the rollcage installed a day b4.

 

My 91 cx d15b2 will max out at 220km/h

 

wtf ok my friend has this 89 civic dx with the d15b2 5 speed intake and 2.5 straight exhaust and we burried the needle at 125 in forth gear and 5th it kept pulling...This is whats making me think... He just swapped it out and i currently have the d15b2 motor which is going in my 91 sedan.... Does anyone have the Gear ratios because seriously somethings odd.
