Default intake manifold porting

Neo_ posted a great post a few weeks ago with pictures and dyno of his new intake that was cut open and ported. do anyone remember who did this?

i have searched but the post was deleted

BUT what I would suggest, if you want to port your IM is to have it extrude honed. Basically they force an abbrasive putty through the IM and thus porting it that way without having to cut the SOB in half and weld it back together.

i was checking out the all motor forum about porting the IM, and ended up with Importbuilders, Endyne and Hookups was the three strongest names.
i don't know what is best of hand porting, CNC porting or extrude hone. so i was curious of neo`s exerience and white rocket you must post you results of it.

Import Builders charged 550 for the manifold that is almost 200$ less of what im paying for the mugen airbox im waiting on, and it seems to make more power all over dyno sheet

Yeah, the IB piece seemed to be a "no joke" product. I'll be getting a re-tune after it is installed so I'll post the results.

I was wondering where that thread went. I thought I was on crack when I searched and couldn't find it.
