Thinking of Selling the Rex-What's she worth?
Ok guys, I have come to a point right now where I either need to sell the rex, or get a loan from the bank to pay off some stuff. I want some honest opinions of what you guys think I can get for her, and what I can do to raise that price without breaking my wallet in the process.

It's getting new wires, plugs, timing redone, and valves adjusted this week. At the track, I have run 15.4 (o2 problem (now fixed), valves clapping (BAD), timing retarted all the way). I bought the car with the engine done already, and am still learning about. While at the track a couple of weeks ago, I started talking to a couple guys with hybrid CRX's. Should be in 14's after I get the timing redone and valves adjusted. She runs good, and other than the major tuneup needed, has no mechanical problems. The interior is in decent shape. The back right wheelwell has a couple of bubles showing rust coming. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with her. Look below for pics, and let me know what you guys think:
A couple more things. The bra is off the car now, so it looks better. It is being sold with the bra though. On the bottom pic, it looks like the paint on the front fender is darker than the rest of the car...It's just my digi cam. The paint is in good condition all around and no bodywork is needed.

dude....i seriously bet you could get 7500 for that. it's ALLLLL about how you sell it....are you a good salesman? sell it to some kid..teenager. brag about how fast it is, how much you got invested ETC. i know if i had that, i would ask like 8K obo, and come down to like maybe 7200-7300.

Your car seems to be very nice clean car, as long as it has been taken care of and has good interior, you could easily get $4.5-$5.5, good luck, sucks that you might have to sell it though.
Sell the Enkies and get some stock nice alloys like HX wheels or GSR's whatever you think looks best and you find for a good price. Sell the neon's if at all possible. I would sell off the sub, amp, and LCD screen. Get rid or the vinyl window visor. You said the car needs no body work and that is a big plus. Keep it washed, waxed, and get the engine bay so clean you can eat off it.
The cars that I see selling quick and for good money, are simple clean almost stock cars with swaps. Or cars with rare JDM parts (hatch, glass roof, back seat, jdm front end conv. ect...ect..) But it doesn't sound like your in the position to dump money into your car to sell it. So I would keep it clean and simple.

Thanks for the responses guys. My friend ran in to a kid that was putting some Enkei's on his GSR the other day. I got his phone #, and am going to give him a call on the (98 I think) GSR wheels. He says to make him an offer on them. What should I say? My friend says they're in really good shape, w/ stock tires that still have decent tread. I wouldn't mind getting rid of the 17's for 98 GSR's, but what are they worth? The white vinyl strip is coming off later today and being replaced with windowtint strip there. Hopefully I wont have to sell it, but it might come to that in the next couple of weeks.

I would say $300-$500 for your friends GSR's. I think $300-$450ish is really cheap if he is a good friend and wants to free up some garage space while helping a friend out at the same time. Then

Yeah. The banner is coming off as soon as my friends uncle (He owns a detailing shop) makes me the new one (windowtint color). I ride through Tavares all the time on the way to LSCC and headin over to friends houses. What do you drive?
