Default light feeling at erm.. motorway speeds

Just wondering if anyone else experiences this, but at 100+mph (on private owned roads of course) my ITR feels light, especially the steering, which begins to feel "vague" at 90+ . Its hard to describe, the steering wheel doesnt vibrate or anything (i know how a car feels with unbalanced wheels) but I get afraid the wheels are going to fall off or something. the car doesnt feel at all planted like it does up to 100 and wanders a little (or is it wind? where I drive their is almost always a cross wind, though rarely strong and i am guessing the R would have to be more sensitive than average to upset it that much).

Experiences appreciated.

when you say light, do you mean kind of... "floaty"?? i had that same feeling BEFORE i removed my power steering, on our cars i guess it's just too much negative resistance. i'm not telling you to jump outside and start unbolting **** under the hood, that's your call... but i can say WITHOUT the power steering i feel the road much much better and i'm a lot more confident with the car. almost too confident

just because is feel floaty doesn't mean it is. i've had my car 155+ with and without PS and i prefer it 50x more without it. wind could also be a factor, AND if you're passing cars that are going significantly slower then you you'll feelweird drafts almost like they're taking your air, be carefull out there

Thanks guys.
to answer your questions, the cars is not lowered , and the original wing is still there. I dont think its the condition of "the road", but maybe one of the umpteen bijillion potholes (AKA craters/trenches) that the kindly road/civil engineers leave behind as a memoir after they have "finished" repairing them up - sorry, they really get to me- has upset my suspention settings.
I can get computer alignment done on the 4 wheels for €40 so I think I will try that.
JUN, Yes, the car feels floaty. very interesting about the power steering. I have never been a big fan of it. I suspect it could be a big part of it. Arent these cars suposed to have variable rate assistance? could it be possible that the variable bit is not working right? Anyway, impressed with your comments. Anything that interferes with feedback/control must be eliminated. I am going to consider doing this after I look into the procedure for removal (might do the AC also).
