PA Inspection, OBD-I in a 2001 GS-R
I have a 2001 Integra GS-R which im putting CP 9:1 pistons, eagle rods, and oem barings in. In preperation for turbo, i plan on using CHROME and an OBD1 ecu for tuning. My question is, for inspection in PA - emissions is tested by something like a scantool which reports all diagnostics info. directly to the state. Assume I put the OBD 2 ECU in for inspection, with aftermarket internals and stock everything else.
will I immediatly see a CEL due to lower compression?
or will it take approx. 200 miles for the ECU to catch on?
If I had a Skunk2 or BLOX intake manifold, does anything change?
Is there some way to alter the signal to certain sensors to "trick" the ecu into thinking everythings okay just for inspection?
The ECU cannot have any current or pending trouble codes in PA. I dont see it being realistic to change my IM, Injectors, and ECU every time i need inspection. Thanks in advance
