i know something must be outta place and i got a light and took a look but i can't figure out the problems.

i took a look today and it looks like....

if u follow the gas pedal up it is welded to another plate on the left side that has a hook-like piece at the end.

so my question is does that hook hold down another piece that's down there.

and if it is above how would i get it back to where it belongs?
