Regards,
Rear beam axle is different, no internal torsion bar as with the Si and its swing arm and bearing. Motor is only some 65 hp, suspension componets are smaller and lighter, has aluminium rear drum caps, lighter by some 300 lbs, smaller radiator, fuel delivery system is different, and interior support bracing is smaller thus lighter. ECU is for a carbed engine, etc, etc.

Up here all CX (HF or STD) came without lips...like my car. Most DX did too. I beleive it was a factory option that most people didn't buy tho. But replacement bumpers are a VERY common thing. Love taps are bumper killers and most people pay the like...150$ for a junkyard bumper and repaint it to match the car. I really want a lip!!! Stock or anything else...

We're talking about CRXes, not Civics. There is no Civic HF.
CRX HF and CRX Si both came with the same factory front chin spoiler. The CRX DX did not have one.

Yes...but I was pointing out that the base model, the CX, has no lip. And neither does the CRX base model, DX up here and same goes with the DX civic. A lip was a added factory option. I wish I had one.
The lip and whole bumper in that pic look nothing like the bumper I have laying in my garage that came off the car.

Lips and bumpers changed between '88-89 and '90-91 model years. The cars pictured are '88 models.
