Default Best Strut Bars?

Ok I did a search and I don't know if the search is broke but nothing would come up for me. Anyways by searching the other boards it seems Neuspeed, Spoon, and Mugen seem to be the favorites. If any of you could give me feedback from these 3 bars I'd appreciate it. Also what about bars from JIC,Cusco, and benen. There is so many choices but I'm looking for the strongest and most beneficial not concerned about the cost. I appreciate the time and reponces

Well, if cost is no concern for you, Mugen all the way! You can't go wrong with Mugen.

They're a little bit heavier than say, Spoon, but they sure as hell look super stiff and tough.

You know, personally I think having an adjustable bar is better. When you think about it, every car is a little different.

With that in mind, I say Tanabe's all the way. They are cheap too. (www.optauto.com)

I have a Cusco carbon fiber (shaft) rear upper. Looks just like the JIC Magic one. Very light weight construction. Quality peice imo.

Upper front strut, Neuspeed is the best. It's a 4 point bar instead of a ring, much more solid.

if money isn't a concern, you can try to find an old school mugen front strut bar w/ 4 mounting points instead of the newer one in which it only has 2 mointing points.

Bozz Performance in Fremont, Ca is the US Distributor for Cusco (I believe so?). Give them a call.

Neuspeed ownz all....

If Neuspeed's design for this bar was that great then why would they produce this bar and charge more for it.

Notice the ITR design and mounting points. Only four companies use these mounting points: Honda, Neuspeed, Comptech, and Mugen.

not using one but I have one.
I have Spoon front and rear on my DB8 GSR.
I have Mugen rear and Neuspeed front on my EG CX.

I would suggest Skunk2 for those on a budget.
Or Mugen for those who can afford it.... but nowadays the newer carbon fiber bars from JICmagic are the best I can imagine having.... next to the RIGID ones being talked about in the ITR forum.....

Thanks for all the replies guys I really appreciate it. I think I'm set on the Neuspeed for the front for sure. I love spoon and mugen (who doesn't) but it doesn't seem that paying the extra money for a strut tower bar from them is justified. I'm still not sure about the rear. Looks to me like mugen is the better one for the rear so that's the way I'm leaning. Thanks again guys!!

Comptech is the ish!!! I have a Comptech Front Upper, Rear Lower, and a Spoon Rear Upper.

Comptech front upper is similar to the OEM ITR design. HELLA stiff.

The Rear lower is part of the Tie Bar/Sway Bar... Super stiff, super light, attaches in like 4 bolt holes.

The Rear upper Spoon bar is nice, cause it comes up out of the access pannels. So you don't have to cut the big trunk liner plastics. This was important to me incase I wanted to take it out. Neuspeed, JDM OEM ITR, and Spoon come up out of the access pannel.

Hope this helps!
