Default electrical connectors by oil filter?? help

I'm putting my motor back together, but cannot find where 2 things by the oil filter go.

Where does the one with the prong sticking out of it go, and where does the open electrical connection go that is right next to it?

Well...that black plug with the prong in the center is the knock sensor. Your is broken. Theres a metal piece that covers that prong. Your **** out of luck... that piece can be 70 dollars or more. I believe the grey one goes to the butterfly vacuum box under the IM.

The one with the single prong is definitely a broken knock sensor. Mine was broken when I removed my old H23A1 and looked exactly like that.....check to see if there is a plug still in the block (rear of the block towards the top)

Yea, it goes into the plug in the block, but won't stay there. I'm thinking about just JB welding it there.

Keep us posted if it goes well, I tried something similar and it didn't work.
So I'll be ordering a knock sensor soon...
