Default Proud new owner!!

well I am now a proud new owner of a 1988 Honda CRX si.. i picked it up about a week and a half ago.. needs a little work but its all basically cosmetic. it has a b16a swap and a nice clean sounding/looking exaust. I'll post up some pics of the way it looks right now later tonight

also.. was wondering.. what did the B16a originally come out of?

Looks like a clean sleeper.

(as a side note - How come my last post "How rare is a VX" in the 92+ Civic section gets locked, but all these "Look at my new car!" posts don't? Pisses me off.)

well the windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced same with the drivers side, side mirror. the drivers side window doesnt roll up properly so that needs to be fixed.. the passenger side fender is cracked and dented and needs passenger side side mouldings, and there are also a few holes in the spare tire wheel well that need to be patched up and the hatch needs new dampers (sidenote.. that hatch is F'n heavy if those dampers arent workin!! LOL)

17's are way too big. 16's are the biggest i've really seen on a rex but they look like ***.

go 15.

nice car. umm 3500 is a little on the high side for it i think. stay with 15s, they look the best and fill up the wheel well pretty well. you could also use the stained glass paint to paint the euro lights red. so that way they will be all red. u know, just to save some money.

well if you were to do the swap yourself and the cost of a clean shell youd probably be somewhere close to 3500 in the end, psh those tail lights are worth 1g alone.

haha glad to see another sweet rex out there, wish i could pick one up... someday.
