Default ECU's fried?

I just moved out of my apartment and my brothers girlfriend was helping me pack, and she packed my ECU's in a box with 2 speakers in it, with the magnet right up on the ecu's. Are they more then likely fried? I dont have anyway to check them right now.

No. It will not erase anything. You need UV light to erase the chip's info.

Meh........I should for not having the common sense to know that magnets fry alot of electronic circuitry.

But then again, I did knowingly let her pack **** for me so it's my fault.

Plus, IDK bout you guys, but it's not everyday your Sister in Law offers to help out, so I'll let her get outta this one due to her generosity
