clutch install...
Well, my 94 LS has about 80,000 miles on it now and the clutch is 8 years old and it is starting to act a little weird. It is still very drivable... just you can tell its starting to wear out. I want to get an ACT heavy duty plate with and ACT organic street disc. My question is, is it really that hard to do the clutch? I know most of the steps involved. I know many people on this board have done it themselves. Can you let me know any tips, tricks... or just things to look out for. Oh yea, ive done exhaust, header, shocks/springs on my car already by myself. Also, how much would a shop charge to put the new clutch in? I dont really feel like payin somebody to do something i can do myself, ya know... thanks for the help guys..
Im gonna lift the engine to do mine. I dont know anyone that has done theres with the engine in the car, but I hear that is a hole lot easier with the engine out. You can also do the timing belt, and water pump while the engine is out too.
have you seen this link?

web site is down right now, but find the clutch install in the how to section.
good luck.
