After 7.5 years of working and saving, I finally got my S2000. Picked her up last week from an s2ki.commer in Fredericksburg, VA. 2004 Silverstone w/ red+black interior and only 16,700 miles. It's bone stock and I plan on starting the mods with new wheels/tires and suspension. I'm open to ideas, but gotta wait for a few more paychecks.









And I'm friends with HT user "Newk". He posted a thread in GDD about the wash and cruise in NOVA we did. I'm the blonde guy with the S (obviously).

but if you've been saving up for 7 years.... and now you're waiting for a paycheck to mod the car... i say you leave the car stock....

the car isn't cheap to mod "properly"....


by the way... we are having a big wash/wax meet on sunday..

 

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll leave it clean for a while and just start saving up again. Although winter tires and a hardtop are the higher priorities.

Is the Sunday wash & wax you're speaking of the one at Criswell Honda in Germantown?

Thanks for all the comments. Yeah, this was a long time coming. It just shows that dedication and sacrifice definitely have their rewards. My gf is happy with it, too. A big step up from my last car: 1991 Volvo 740 Turbo...

Can I just say that I love driving around NOVA and having other s2k owners wave, flash their lights, or honk at me. Love the sense of community this car fosters.
