I need help with the A/C compressor oil
i'm replacing the A/C compressor for 94 honda accord ex, but i don't know what kind of oil i should use for lubrication. BY the way the A/C compressor branch is HADSY...ANY IDEAS OR OPTION?? thanks in advanced.

I believe you will need PAG-150. If you had a compressor failure you will need to flush the entire system to remove all of the crap that was run through the system as the compressor disintegrated over time. This requires disassembly of just about everything. Be sure to replace all O Rings in all lines, and replace the dryer. I also replaced my condensor just to be sure. Flush all lines using brake cleaner and compressed air. Its not an easy job, but can be done and you'll save a few bucks. My shop wanted $1400 to do the job and I did mine for $900 after having to replace one of the high pressure lines that got old and ruptured costing me an additional $229. Count on a shop charging $100 to vacume/evacuate the system, pressure test and charge the system properly after your work. Tell them you havel already installed PAG oil or they will do it again when they charge the system.
