Default motor wont turn over

heres tje problem my girlfriend brought her 94 ls out today for me to put a headunit in. so i put the headunit in start the car to make sure every thing is good and it is. then i shut the car off for about 5 maybe 10 minutes. go to start the car and it wont turn over. i think it is the starter or alternater the battery reads good on my tester but the alternater reads dead. like i said it cranks but wont turnover to start to do guys think it is the alternator starter or something else? please let me know asap

if its cranking properly and wont start then your missing one or some of the following: air, fuel, spark, good compression. Chances are its fuel or spark.

k if ur alternator is dead like you said try jumping and if it jumps its ur alternator going bad and also check spark plugs or check the distubitor

- sorry for my spelling if i spelled it wrong.

spark = igniter module, distributor.. chances are, if you didn't touch the distributor, its still aligned fine, i'd ohm out your coils with a meter once you unplugged all the leads from them.
