Default b series swap

hey everyone, this is my first time on honda tech. im trying to get some help with my swap... ive put a d16z6 in before, but im having some trouble with the b16 i bought. the back brace wont slip up in there like a z6 one normally would.. i was wondering if there was a easy way to do this.. it gets hung up on the heater hoses... and frankly i dont wanna mess my hasport mounts up... any insight would be nice, since this is my first REAL swap, and i have big plans for it. if anyone could help me my AIM is *bckinz* thanks a million

whats the back brace? i assume your talking about the motor mount? you cant use a d series motor mount with a b series engine... hasport makes motor mounts for your swap

I take it you're installing it from the top. From the bottom is much easier as well as better in terms of not scratching up your engine bay. Do you have a leveler? It make life easier if you do when mounting from the top. It will allow you to tilt the motor through. As far as heater hoses, take them off. Be careful not to crush the heater core coper pipe.(Speaking of experience )

if you didnt buy an obd2 b16(a2), you dont have the correct rear tranny bracket. you need one from a 99-00 si.
