Are you too cool/good for a 250?

Just want to know your reasoning for wanting to start on a 600 so bad.

I wouldnt call it a killer deal, but i was very happy with the purchase. Was my first bike, and it is very easy to learn on..as long as you respect it and stay below 8k.

Nope. SHawks are cheeeeep. Not many people like 'em. Also, brand new ones (leftover 03 and 04 and 05s) go for under $6k.

Oops. Forgot to say - I got my '95 CBR600F3 three years ago for $2800. The '99 SHawk (VTR1000F) was purchased two years ago for $4000.

eh he's more into touring now and the busa fits the mold better than the superhawk. if he could he'd keep his nice superhawk but can't afford both

I just think it's ugly and HELLA overrated.

Sure it's a beast and a good "sport tourer," but everyone knows it for being really fast, and that's it.

I think a Busa is going to be my next bike too, cause I am also gravitating more towards the touring part of sport touring. There's a ton of aftermarket for them, there's a ton of clean used ones out there, etc.

I think I'm going to resprocket it though so top speed is only 180. I am also becoming more of a roll-on fan too.

I'd be willing to let my bike go for $3500-$4000. I dont ride it much anymore anyhow.

the zx14 is ugly as hell. anyway, i got a 2000' 1200 bandit for $2700. very comfortable and has all its power in the mid range. great for roll-ons and very fast. oh and by the way all the busa haters should actually take one out for a ride before judging it. its an awesome sport-tour bike also.
