Yea...
Do you get it in 21ft sticks? I'd get 4 of em and you should be alright.

if it fits on a semi truck. ican get it.
we generally get it in 12 just because its easier to handle. i was thinking 20-21ft sticks, but enough for 2 cages (99 si, 14-18pt. SCCA and sub 9 sec. 1/4)(83 porsche 944, 18pt. SCCA cage)

yea, thats what im thinking, but i dont want to buy too much as where i work we dont deal with moly tubing. i think about 400ft should do it, and have some left over for randomn projects
I'd guess about 50' for a 944. IIRC, I had about 55 in an ITE 944 and 50 or so in another GT 944 for PCA, but I'd have to check my notes.
Buy at least 10' sticks. Rarely anything longer than that unless you're doing a front hoop.
Don't forget to buy extra for the F-Ups, especially if this is your first cage.
What class? That's an awful lot of points for just a passenger compartment cage. Punching through the firewall? If so, you'd better buy at least 100' of tubing.
Have you checked the rules? Some of the SCCA rulesets are doing away with the weight break for 4130 on new cages. Also, NHRA and SCCA cage specs are very different. Legal for one is tossed out or too heavy to be competitive at the other.

i generally use 70-80 ft per cage. thats including a screw up or 2 and scraps. I generally order 500+ ft of 1.625 tubing itself.
ps. i will meet or beat anyones advertised price for 4130 if u need it... pick up only.

Boost,
20-21 ft sticks work well. What bender do you plan on using?
Are you planing a tube frame chasis , or just A & B pillars with kickers, door bars, support bars? Front and/or rear hoops?
What class in SCCA? Or you wanting to build a spec cage to SCCA rules?
I've used as little as 80 ft and as much as 130 - 140 ft. depending on rules and classes.
HTH
