Which tires?
Hi All,
I have question regarding tire size, here is my car info :
2005 Accord Sedan
4 Cyl.
Suspension:
Supercup Kit [second perch, 2" drop for the front and third perch, 1.75" drop for the rear]
I ordered a 18X7.5 with 225/40/18, the question is :
1)Should I order 45 instead 40?
2)If I order 45, will it rub?
3)My drop is kinda low on the front, 225/40 will be smaller then my original 205/65 by 10mm...I was thinking 45 to raise it a bit, is it a good idea?
4)Is there any side effect that I need to consider?
5)235 is too wide for 7.5" wide rims...that's what I heard.
I still have 2-3 weeks before my rims and wheel, any input is greatly apreciated.
Thank you in advance

I received info from Falken rep:
"We recommend you stay with the 225/40R18 size, at 40 PSI, which will
match the stock load capacity and be about the same height. As to
rubbing, we cannot make a recommendation, since we do not check all
possible lowering kets on all model cars. You will have to just
experiment.
Reference a 235 width tire, it requires a minimum 8.0 rim width.

Is it recomended?
