Default get off flywheel on auto d16z6???????HELP

alright guys, i just got my 95 civic ex sohc vtec home. i got the wire harness from all the plugs and sensors on the engine to where they plug in at the strut towers. that is all the wires i needed from the civic right? i send that off with the same section of wires from the dx and they come back changed...the old civic wire harness will then plug into the dx plugs that go from the strut towers to the ecu plug correct? and i get the p28 ecu for a manual tranny...get a conversion plug to go from the plug for the dx ecu and on the otehr end plugs into the p28. please post and let me know if i have this all correct.. Also, this was an automatic, when i took the tranny off. there is a big thing where the flywheel is/ should be that looks like a brake hub or something. how the hell does this come off???? do i just take off all of the tiny 10mm bold that are through from the back and you can't get to? thats all for now. thanks alot guys. me and my buddy got it from where we could start it to loaded in the truck in about 4 hours... (took us awhile ot find hidden bolts on tranny, so we had to beat it up a lil.) not bad for the first time yankin one without breaking anything. Please post soon. thank you

Yea- remove the torque converter by taking out 8 10mm bolts. They are accessible once you remove the black flywheel/flexplate cover on the bottom of the engine. Then you will need to remove the flexplate with a 12point 17mm socket. Where are you sending your harnesses off to?

Thats a torque convertor attached to the flexplate(flywheel). You need to ditch both of those and get a manual transmission flywheel. There should be a few bolts holding the convertor to the flywheel. Just undue those and it will pop right off.
