Default red pinstriping question!!!!

i have a black 89 si w/ red wheels and polished lip. should i put the red pin stripe on the molding like the jdm molding, or would that be too much red? ill try to get pics up soon of the car before i do the molding. maybe this should be in appearance and cosmetic but i figured i would ask the ef guys first. thanks in advance

That would look good, IMO.

HOw about a pic?

I think it'd be too much red, or are you meaning a PINSTRIPE only on the molding....personally, I think a red pinstrip starting at the back window, just underneath, and following that body line to the front fender and stopping just before the marker light would look nice! If I can find a pic, I'll add what I mean

Do it to offset the black . Just try to find a shade of red that matches the red on your wheels exactly or darn close. Otherwise the varying shades of red may look a bit tacky .

Personally, I dont think rexs look right with a pinstripe... But a single red line along the molding, kinda like on the EF9 Civic SiRs, does look good...

CRX's are not supposed to have the SIR red molding stripe. Hatch's, yes, because the side moldings are designed for it.

I know they didnt come stock with the red stripe, but that dosnt mean they cant look good with the same stripe... Depends on the color of the car...

No thats not my car... Just an example how they can look with the red stripe on the molding...
