Default T belt wobbles

When I look at the cam gears on my ZC while its running, the T-belt wobbles about .5mm either way on both gears. Would this indicate a bad tensor? Its not consistant either, back and forth on both gears. Should I be concerned, or does this happen?

More likely a bad belt than a bad tensioner. Keep in mind that nothing in this world is perfect. And ALL timing belts will do this to a small degree. But if it is VERY visible, replace the belt.

Like I said, .5mm. Its pretty visaible. I should probably replace the tensor as well though, right? I got the engine from Hmotors and its been about 3k miles. I forgot to when I was putting it in, anybody think its nessicary? It seems fine to me.

Is it 5mm or .5mm, .5mm is like REALLY SMALL, but 5mm is like half a CM.

.5 mm is barely 2 hundredths of an inch.

if it visibly wobbles, you should check both pulleys and the belt for damage. does your car run ok?

Yeah sorry, its probably closer to 2-3mm. Car runs fine. I'm going to replace teh belt just because its been through alot - Its been my first T-belt, much less a DOHC one. Should I bother with the tensor though?
