need a suggestion on how to protect the front bumper
well i have an authentic mugen front bumper on my ek that i modified to create a complete lip on the bumper. the problem is that where i live the roads are alittle bumpy bc its the northeast and the lip and fron are taking a beating. i was thinking of buying a urathane lip and trying to fit it to the bumper, but im not sure that will work right. so id like to know if you guys have any suggestions on what i can do to line it or support is with something so as to not have it get distroyed......thanks for any help
If its taking damage from rock chips 3M makes a self adhesive clear acrylic sheet you can stick onto the forward facing areas to protect it from rocks that get thrown up chipping your paint.
If its taking damage from hitting the ground really the only way to get around it is to raise the ride height., adding a lip might cause it to get stuck on parking stones, road debris, etc and bend your bumper.

i was wondering if maybe there is some kind of a hardening agent or a coating i could put on the lip so as to work as a solid lining to prevent the lip from cracking
raise it up or put the stock bumper back on....... plain and simple...... the stiffer you make the bottom the easier the bumper will break when the bottom hits the ground
