installed a new fuel gauge in my crx, reads right when key on sitting still, but needle goes crazy once i start moving.... whats this about? MYcrx

 

is this an aftermarket guage?

fuel is a liquid and will slosh around

which gauge are you using?

What wire did you connect it to?
Did you install an aftermarket sender as well or the oem one?
You sure you got the right ohms?
etc, etc.

I have an autometer gauge that won't work with the factory sender. dumb me. need to get the right sender. Until then... no fuel levels for me.

 

ita iequus gauge, hooked sensor wire off gauge to yellow/white wire off cluster gauge, one that resides behind tach, no resistors or anything.....
