Default Can I increase fuel pressure using FPR?

If not, what's it's function?
Sorry kinda noob question but I have been up-ing my injector instead of playing with the pressure to keep up my fuel supply. I wonder whether this is an alternative

All of our cars have fuel pressure regulators. You need to get an "adjustible" fuel pressure regulator like the B&M, AEM, or Aeromotive.

you can play with the pressure using an adjustable fpr but you can only go so far safely before the injector sticks

most people set th base pressure aroun 40psi and then use a 1:1 regulator for boost
