Halfshafts....H22 F22
I have an Prelude SH engine that I plan on making a plate so that the engine will work with the Prelude base transmission. The plate makes a spot for the halfshaft to be mounted to the engine, and is already designed to Prelude halfshaft specs. Are the mounts/length where it mounts on the block completly different between the Accord and Prelude?
01 Prelude SH - 90 Accord
01 Prelude SH - 90 Accord
Now, I have no experience with SH engines, but a normal h22 wil bolt to a base model prelude tranny(Base model prelude has an f22, just like the accord).
I've done an h22 swap into a '90 accord 5spd, and reused the tranny axles and shift linkage from the accord without having to fab anything.
The accord midshaft bolted to the back of the h22, no problem.
Is the SH different or something?
