Default Heater hose from firewall to b16a

From the fire wall where the heater hose hooks in where does it connect to the b16a engine, and the same question for the hose that runs right above it

the one going into your cabin is connected to the back of the motor by the thermo...and the one that comes from the cabin connects to the one towards the front of your motor on the tranny side...

well i bought a full swap do you think that there is was hose the connects the two on the block that i have to disconnect? on the front there should be 2 hoses from the radiator and then one that runs to the intake, correct?

theres no plugs once so ever on the b16a to run to the fire wall for heat, there is 2 spots on the tranny where the radiator hoses run and then another hose the runs with to the housing on the thermostat housing

im not sure what you mean by plugs?

radiator hoses run through the tranny? u sure that aint just for power steering?

just because ur swap motor didnt come with the hoses that run to the firewall doesnt mean you dont need them...u can probably use the stock ones if they are still in good condition...

all you really need to do is just look at the motor for a sec...you will know where the hoses need to go

The two hoses on the speed sensor are for
"speed-assisted power steering".. I looped them together
and put some power steering fluid inside to keep it lubed:

One of the connections is visable here:

The other here:

just like i thought...those are the two coolant lines that go to your heater...if u are gonna run heat then u need to keep those...if not you can just get a longer hose and connect the one that goes into the firewall to the part of the motor where the hose returns from the firewall...but like you said, just seperate them and hook em back up...make sure u drain ur coolant first or ull be in for a nice surprise
