engine noise

Default engine noise

the plastic cam gear cover sucks was loose and rubing on the belt when i went to tighten it the plastic just broke and the bolt juts spins, i got the top half off but the bottum half is still rubing and makes a really loud hum against the belt and my arm it just a lil to big to fit far enough inthere to get the bottum off
evertime i ty to pull one at the junkyard they break when i try to turn a bolt


will my timing belt fly off without this cover?

He's right. You could get a rock in there and really f-up everything.

You can roll with it, but if you drive in heavy dirt areas (which probably is everywhere)
then yeah...
